Hello Payton! I love the abstractness of these pictures! The structure itself is very intriguing, it makes me want to continue to figure out what it is I am looking at. There are a lot of leading lines, but I am not sure what exactly what they are leading my eyes to. In my opinion, that makes the pictures that much more intriguing (subjectively). My only critique is that you could have found a structure similar in style, or even made from similar material to add some variation to the product as a whole.
Hey Peyton, your images remind me of childhood memories in the sense that the bars look like the inside of a ferris wheel. This adds interest to your images because it holds attention with its unique perspective and I really like that. One thing to think about is the first and third picture are very similar and I almost think one needs to be replaced to give your project a little more variety. Overall, your pictures are great!
Hey Peyton! This is one of my favorite projects from the class! I really love all of the depth and movement you were able to create with the structures in these photos. I think the gray scale does this series a lot of justice. It emphasizes shadows that might be over-looked in colored pictures. The only critique I have would be to maybe look at the structure from a different perspective in the third picture. The first and third picture are the most similar, so maybe offering a photo from within the structure looking up would provide some more unseen details.
