-- I enjoy these pictures. One thing I've notice is the leading lines, as all three images have them. Those leading lines are great help for my eyes to move around the pictures. I love the use of monochrome. - I feel like potentially the last picture has less focus than the others so my eyes are trying to find what to focus on, and I guess for the sake to trying to find something to say as one help, I would say both first and third picture show some cool shadows but the second one doesn't have shadow at all. Would be something to maybe consider just to find a common theme but I still believe these work very well together! Great Job Elyssa!
I really love the first picture- the texture and contrast immediately draw you in. The last picture is also really nice, for the same reason. That texture and contrast are nice! I would only like to see the grain in the wood on the last picture more in focus so you really get that payoff.
Elyssa, I think your triptych has good leading lines and your camera angle captured them well. As I shared in class, I feel the photo of the ceiling would have worked better if it contained more of the light balance presented in the other 2 photos. Nice job!
Hi Elyssa! What I love about your project is the attention to detail that you create with the wood. I think it draws the viewer into your photos. Only thing I would change is maybe doing something similar with your middle photo (of the ceiling) to match the others; get up a little closer to see the grit of the wood, and it would be an even better set. Nice job!
Elyssa, Your last photo is fantastic. They all are frankly. I think that your use of leading lines is spot on and you did well making the photos a set. Overall you did beautifully. Great job.
